As part of the Mission’s engagement with EU members states, Ambassador Mosé visited Budapest, Hungary from 21 – 22 March and met with senior officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The Ambassador met the Director-General of the Department of Asia-Pacific in the Ministry, Dr Péter Jakab and held constructive discussions on possible bilateral technical and development cooperation between Solomon Islands and Hungary in areas of Education, Agriculture and water management. He also met with the Head of Protocol, Ms Edina Pastor and Dr Gyorgy Suha, Ministerial Commissioner, Head of Consular Affairs Department.
