The Deputy Adviser and Regional Manager for Asia and Pacific in the European Investment Bank (EIB), Ms Sunita Lukkhoo, met with Ambassador Mose to explore funding possibilities by  EIB for projects in Solomon Islands. The main focus of the discussion was on Tina Hydro Project. According to Ms Lukhoo, EIB may be able to partner with the Solomon Islands Government and Solomon Power to provide funding for the transmission line for the hydro project. The transmission line is estimated to cost around US$20 million.
